Garwin Beukes - Whether it be through a conversation or radio advert, the name Line-X should be familiar by now.
What exactly is it though?
Well, Line-X is a protective spray on coating that can be applied on nearly everything. The coating is so renowned because of how tough it is. "Nearly indestructible" should be a close enough description.
Direct Auto, who has sole rights to this product in Namibia, is the only company to go!
Line-X has become seemingly more attractive to 4x4- and bakkie-owners because it works remarkably well on protecting these heavy duty vehicles.
As a replacement for rubberizing the back of your bakkie or having a coat on your trolley bars, the product lasts a lot longer and keeps it's shine.
Whether applied to metal, fiberglass, concrete, plastic, or wood the product performs just as well. While it might not save you from an extreme accident, it does absorb impact and resist damage through it's flexibility and strength.
Sales Marketing Manager, Robert Dickson, took us through their workshop and showed NamAuto a Toyota Land Cruiser bakkie completely covered in camo coloured Line-X. Dickson says with Line-X you have a lifetime warranty on Rust and corrosion.
This may sound too good to be true, but this product is affordable as well.
If you're not too careful, you'll buy a bakkie just to get Line-X!
