Upon entering the building I felt the rough but firm material on the entrance gate. Line-X, a product only sold by Direct Auto in the entire country, but more of Line-X later.
The building is a lot bigger on the inside than one would expect. Row's of bars followed by rows of rims, etc. Sales and marketing manager, Robert Dickson, took NamAuto through the entire retail shop and thereafter we went through another gate to their workshop. Again we were amazed by how big the establishment is. Behind the shop they have a workshop focused on welding, fitment as well as booth's for rubberizing and Line-X application.
They perform any custom welding. Dickson says Direct Auto can build any custom bumper a client request.
In the workshop we observed a bakkie which had seats fitted on the back. We also spotted two bakkies covered with Line-X.
