Forbes recently posted the official vehicle sales figures for January to July 2017. And did those figures turn some heads! We won't keep you in the dark - the Nissan-Renault Alliance group officially overtook both the Volkswagen and Toyota brands with the highest number of vehicle sales, during the past few months.
Now one thing that that you probably didn't know, is that there are more brands involved than meets the eye. The Volkswagen group, for instance, also includes Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda, MAN, Scania, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, whereas Toyota also produces not only their Toyota brand, but also Hino, Lexus, Ranz, and Daihatsu. The Alliance is chief in charge of Nissan, Renault, Infiniti, Renault Samsung Motors, Dacia, Datsun, Venucia, Lada and Mitsubishi.
Even though we do not see some of these brands in Namibia, we can definitely see how the mentioned brands we do get locally, is making a big uproar in our automobile community.
