Super Duper Mini Cooper

There are very few people who would not know what a Mini Cooper is – whether it is Mr. Bean’s green mini that have been put through various daring tasks, or Steve McQueen’s legendary 1967 Mini Cooper S, we all have our memories of the tiny box-shaped cars.

50 years have featured a wide range of Mini’s with amazing built in features, but never has the top-notch quality dwindled.

2019 brings a new JCW that still produces 170 kilowatts and 319 NM of torque, courtesy of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine and buyers can choose from either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

The European press release states “New customization options are the interior equipment feature MINI Yours Interior Style Piano Black illuminated including the back-lit trim area on the front passenger side and the Piano Black Exterior option with high-gloss black surrounds for the headlamps, the rear lights and the radiator grille.” You have to admit, that is very cool!

We are still waiting on the latest news pertaining to Southern Africa and which models we can expect to hit Namibian roads, but make sure to pop in at Pupkewitz BMW where they can introduce you to the current Mini family!
